Megha City Gas Distribution Private Limited plans to establish 400 compressed natural gas (CNG) stations and 0.2 million piped natural gas (PNG) connections across the country by 2024.
Megha Gas has established 46 CNG stations in Telangana, 28 in Andhra Pradesh, 12 in Karnataka, 4 in Uttar Pradesh, 4 in Madhya Pradesh, 3 in Tamil Nadu and 3 in Punjab.
In the eleventh city gas distribution (CGD) bidding round by Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), Megha Gas has bagged licences for 15 geographic areas across the country. It has won geographical areas in nine states, i.e., Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
