The mission of CGDIndia is to provide decision makers with information, analysis and insight on the city gas distribution (CGD) sector in India that are of interest and relevance to CGD network operators, technology providers, investors, regulators, consultants and other concerned organisations.
CGDIndia features analysis of emerging trends & developments, opinions of leading experts, interviews with top managers, and a rich knowledge centre. It covers a broad spectrum of topics including but not limited to policy, regulation, authorisation & licensing, and technology. The primary focus is on city gas distribution but, when relevant it also examines trends related to other aspects of the Indian natural gas market.
The site has been created by a group of dedicated researchers who have been involved with the sector for over two decades. Its promoters have founded over a dozen publications/websites related to energy and infrastructure, including Indian Infrastructure, Power Line, Renewable Watch and Smart Utilities.
