Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) is planning to set up its first compressed natural gas (CNG) to liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant. The small-scale plant would focus on strengthening LNG availability, particularly for stations beyond port cities like Ennore and Kochi.
Besides, it is also likely to commission 16 LNG stations by March 2024. The company is targeting expansion of LNG and compressed biogas (CBG) infrastructure to intensify its profitability and volume.
IGL is an Indian natural gas distribution company that supplies natural gas as cooking and vehicular fuel. Established in 1998, the company operates primarily in Delhi-NCR and its neighbouring cities.
