Gruner Renewable Energy (GRE) has won contracts worth Rs 15 billion for setting up 30 compressed biogas (CBG) plants across the country.
The plants would be set up across the cities of Ayodhya, Satna, Balasore, Navsari, Yavatmal, Vijayawada and Rajahmundry among others to produce over 88,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) CBG. 11 plants are worth Rs 11 billion while 19 plants are valued at Rs 4 billion.
Currently, GRE is implementing 30 projects across the country and aims to increase it to 100 by 2024-25.
