ESL Steel Limited has signed an agreement with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for supply of piped natural gas (PNG).
As per the agreement, IOCL would supply PNG to ESL Steel for its Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand promoting cleaner and sustainable energy usage.
IOCL is a state-owned Maharatna energy company that is India’s largest integrated oil and gas enterprise, operating across the entire hydrocarbon value chain, including refining, pipeline transportation, and marketing of petroleum products.
