In a notable development, Adani Total Gas (ATGL) has successfully commissioned two new gas pipelines in Chittorgarh, reflecting the company’s commitment towards making clean energy accessible for all. As per recently released results by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board for building infrastructure and the sale of gas to automobiles, households, and small industries in 52 geographical areas (GAs), ATGL won licences for retailing gas in 14 Indian cities.

Catering to GAs that account for 15 per cent of the country, the company plans on investing Rs 200 million over the next eight years in order to set up city gas infrastructure across the country. With the aim of achieving sustainable development goals, ATGL has employed Miyawaki technique at its plant in Ramol, Ahmedabad as forests cultivated by this technique are thirty times denser, absorbing thirty times more carbon dioxide.
