Around more than 40,000 domestic households in Jaipur are likely to be equipped with piped natural gas (PNG) connections soon. The construction work to lay PNG pipelines is under progress in Sirsi Road, Hathoj- Kalwad Road, Vidyanagar, Jagatpur area along with many colonies of Jaipur Municipal Corporation.
Under phase-I of the project, the construction work has been completed in more than 7,000 households in Jaisinghpura, Mahapura, Journalist Colony, Mahindra special economic zone (SEZ) of Jaipur and Neemrana in Alwar, Rajasthan and PNG supply has been commenced.
Besides, pipeline laying works are also in progress in ALwar, Dholpur, Kota and Baran districts of Rajasthan.
