Government of Haryana (GoH) is working on a plan to provide compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas through pipelines for domestic, commercial and industrial consumers. Besides, it has asked gas agencies to establish area wise targets and develop a structural framework for the same. 

Currently, there are around 362 operational CNG stations along with industrial connections in several cities of Haryana and work is in progress to lay gas pipelines in domestic and industrial areas of Ambala, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Mahendragarh, Nuh, Kurukshetra, Panchkula, Panipat, Palwal, Sonipat and Sirsa.
