Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) issued a tender for obtaining final approval from the Government of West Bengal (GoWB) and other concerned statutory or government authorities for development of Compressed Biogas (CBG) Plants at Durgapur, Asansol, Medinipur, Kalyani, Siliguri on November 2, 2026. The last date for bid submission is November 12, 2026.
The duration of the contract is two months.
BPCL is planning to develop CBG plants at Durgapur, Asansol, Medinipur, Kalyani and Siliguri in the State of West Bengal. The proposed projects are envisaged to be developed on Govt-owned land parcels, with an approximate land requirement of 6 to 12 acres at each location. The projects will be developed in coordination with the Govt. of West Bengal, State Urban Development Authority (SUDA) and the respective municipal authorities.
