Indradhanush Gas Limited (IGL) and CEID Consultants and Engineering Private Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish 25 compressed biogas (CBG) plants across India.
The plants are to be developed under the center’s GOBARdhan scheme with an expected capacity of 125 tonnes per day (tpd).
Under the agreement, organic waste will be used as raw material for producing compressed biogas, providing alternative to conventional fuels.
