Oil India Limited (OIL) and Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) are planning to set up around eight to ten compressed biogas (CBG) plants across Assam and other North-East states.
The plants would be set up in collaboration with urban local bodies for collection of municipal solid waste.
