With a decrease in the overall cost of gas for city gas companies, price of compressed natural gas (CNG) are expected to fall over the next few days. State owned Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) will supply natural gas to companies at $8.04 mmBtu in the second or third week of May for transport and domestic use. This will help companies reduce CNG prices by Rs 5-6 per kg. this reduction in price may vary from operator to operator.
