Petronet LNG has approved a Joint Venture (JV) with Gruner Renewable Energy Private Limited to set up 10 Compressed Biogas (CBG) plants at an estimated investment of Rs 12 billion.
Each plant is likely to have a capacity of 18 metric tonnes per day.
The JV will be incorporated as a Private Limited Company, having 50 percent stake each.
