OIL, GPS Renewables forms JV for CBG plants

Oil India Limited (OIL) and GPS Renewables Private Limited have formed joint venture (JV) for the development of eight CBG plants across the country. 

Both OIL and GPS Renewables will have 50 per cent stake each in the JV for design, build, finance, ownership, operation and transfer (DBFOOT) of the CBG projects. 

The JV aims to develop CBG plant network to decrease reliance on fossil fuels and lower greenhouse gas emissions. 

GPS Renewables is engaged in providing technology and project solutions for biofuel projects.
