In a notable development, GAIL (India) Limited has signed sales and purchase agreement (SPA) with ADNOC Gas for purchase of about 0.52 million metric tonnes per annum (mmtpa) liquefied natural gas (LNG) for a period of 10 years, starting 2026.
The LNG will be supplied through six shipments annually from ADNOC’s natural gas facility on Das Island with processing capacity of 6 mmtpa.
