Nexgen Energia Limited, a leading clean fuel energy company is exploring opportunities to establish green diesel refineries and compressed bio-gas (CBG) production units in North India. In the first phase, the company established 1,000 CBG production units in India through franchise route with a special focus in Uttar Pradesh. The company’s CBG production unit in Ambala has already started production.
As per the Bio-fuel policy, 2018 Government of India has decided to promote production, storage and distribution of bio-fuel and encourage participation of private players in the green energy sector. Government is also providing investment subsidies and many policy incentives to increase the participation of budding entrepreneurs.
