Following the reduction in input natural gas prices by Central government on Kirit Parikh’s committee’s recommendations, Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has reduced the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) by Rs 8 per kg and piped natural gas (PNG) by Rs 5 per standard cubic meter (scm), effective from April 7, 2023 in Mumbai and surrounding areas.
After the price cut, CNG price now stands at Rs 79 per kg while PNG at Rs 49 per scm.
