In a notable development, Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has planned a capital expenditure of Rs 8 billion for the development of compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) infrastructure in financial year (FY) 2023-24.

Of the planned expenditure, around Rs 5.3 billion is committed for investment in Unison Enviro.

Besides, it is planning to establish 50 CNG stations along with expanding PNG infrastructure.
