Megha Gas, a part of Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) Group, has inaugurated its fourth compressed natural gas (CNG) station in Belagavi city on August 3, 2022. The retail outlet has been opened at Shree Mahalakshmi Petroleum, Indian Oil Petrol Pump, Airport Road, Maruthi Nagar, Belagavi.
MEIL bagged gas licenses for 15 areas across India, in the 11th city gas distribution bidding round held by Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board. It has won geographical areas in nine states, i.e., Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
