In a recent development, Megha City Gas Distribution Private Limited has signed a mid term agreement with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) for supply of natural gas. With this, Megha Gas will receive reliable natural gas supply from HPCL for its city gas distribution (CGD) operations.
Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has authorised Megha Gas to lay CGD infrastructure in 62 districts across 22 geographical areas (GAs) in 10 states. Besides, it operates more than 130 compressed natural gas (CNG) stations and provides 0.1 million domestic piped natural gas (PNG) and over 500 industrial and commercial gas supply across its authorised GAs.
