India’s natural gas consumption increased by 7 per cent to 32.6 billion cubic meters (bcm) in April-September 2023 on year on year (YoY) basis. The rise is due to normalised international gas prices and supplies.
Besides, natural gas consumption for financial year (FY) 2022-23 stood at 60 bcm.
