Indian Oil-Adani Gas Private Limited (IOAGPL) has successfully commissioned its sixth compressed natural gas (CNG) station in the geographical area of Burdwan in West Bengal. The Sanchary fuel station is one of the first CNG stations of East Burdwan district.
In the ninth round of bidding for city gas distribution, Indian Oil Corporation collaborated with Adani Gas Private Limited to develop the city gas network in both east and west Burdwan districts. IOAGPL is expected to set up 80 CNG stations and offer 250,000 piped natural gas connections by 2026.
