Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) by Rs 1 per kg across its authorised geographical areas (GAs) with effect from December 14, 2023.
CNG prices have been revised to Rs 76.59 per kg in Delhi; Rs 81.2 per kg in Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Rewari and Hapur; Rs 81.58 per kg in Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Shamli; Rs 82.62 per kg in Gurugram; and Rs 82.93 per kg in Karnal and Kaithal. Besides, the revised CNG price in Hamirpur, Fatehpur, Mahoba, Banda and Chitrakoot stands at Rs 84.42 per kg while that in Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand is Rs 84.44 per kg.
IGL is an Indian natural gas distribution company that supplies natural gas as cooking and vehicular fuel. Established in 1998, the company operates primarily in Delhi- national capital region and its neighbouring cities.
