In a notable development, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has signed agreement with ADNOC Trading for supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
As per the agreement, ADNOC would supply LNG at HPCL LNG Limited’s Chhara LNG terminal in Gujarat.
Currently, the terminal has regasification capacity of five million metric tonnes per annum (mmtpa) with LNG storage capacity of 400,000 cubic meters in two equally sized tanks.
