Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has extended the bid due date for grant of authorisation for the Mallavaram-Srikakulam natural gas pipeline Project from April 30, 2025 to May 30, 2025. Bids for the same were invited in April 2025.
The project involves laying, building or operating 290 km of natural gas pipeline from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited’s (ONGC) onshore gas terminal at Mallavaram to Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh with minimum system capacity of 10 million metric standard cubic meters per day (mmscmd) including common carrier capacity. The proposed pipeline will further connect to GAIL (India) Limited’s Srikakulam-Angul natural gas pipeline.
