Gujarat Gas Limited has witnessed marginal decrease in net profit in the third quarter of financial year (FY) 2024-25. The net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 2.2 billion as against Rs 2.21 billion profit in the third quarter of FY 2023-24.
The revenue from operations recorded 6.07 per cent increase from Rs 40.84 billion to Rs 43.32 billion during the period under consideration.
The total sales volume stood at 9.47 million metric standard cubic meters per day (mmscmd), compressed natural gas (CNG) at 3.12 mmscmd, industrial at 5.46 mmscmd and piped natural gas (PNG) volumes at 0.89 mmscmd during the October 2024- December 2024 period.
Gujarat Gas is one of the country’s largest city gas distribution (CGD) companies operating in 44 districts in 6 states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh and union territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Currently, it operates over 825 CNG stations along with providing natural gas supply to over 2.22 million households.
