GPS Renewables has won a contract worth Rs 20 billion for compressed biogas (CBG) projects across the country.
The plants with production capacity of 350 tonnes per day (tpd) would utilise 4,000 tpd agri-residue and energy crop and 300 tpd municipal solid waste for production of CBG.
Besides, GPSR Arya is planning to set up its own CBG projects in joint venture with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).
