Gaya Urban area is expected to receive piped natural gas (PNG) connections soon in Bodh Gaya.
The Government of Bihar (GoB) has set a target to provide PNG connections to 7,032 households in Gaya urban area by March 31, 2027. About 4,320 households are receiving regular gas supply and 15 to 20 new customers are being added each day.
PNG supply will commence in Ashok Vihar Colony, Kendui, Lakhibagh, Magadh Medical, Bhusunda, and Janakpuri areas. Supply is expected to commence immediately for 52 households whose formalities have been completed, while supply for another 30 households is expected to commence after completion of the formalities.
