GAIL (India) Limited is likely to implement the integrated natural gas pipeline tariff of Rs 58.61 per metric million British thermal unit (MMBtu) which is 45 per cent higher than the current tariff with effect from April 1, 2023.
The hike in tariff is due to Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board’s (PNGRB) 41 per cent increase in tariff at Rs 60.92 MMBtu for state owned gas distribution companies.
