GAIL (India) Limited is likely to tie up for 7-8 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) or 50 per cent long term liquefied natural gas (LNG) volumes till 2030 to ensure fulfilment of domestic demand and protection from price shocks.
Currently, the company is in talks with the suppliers in several countries including the United States, Qatar and many other countries to the East of India.
