Five Compressed Biogas (CBG) plants are currently in pipeline at Tinsukia and Jorhat in Assam.
It will be aligned to Galvanizing Organic Bio-Agro Resources Dhan (GOBARdhan) scheme, aiming to convert waste into clean energy for homes and farms.
The plants will process municipal solid waste and is planned to have a capacity of 125 tonnes per day (tpd).
