Around eight firms have submitted bids for balance optical fibre cable (OFC) work at Ranchi geographical area (GA) for city gas distribution (CGD) network in Jharkhand. These include: Artnuma Infra Private Limited, Caspian India Engicon Private Limited, DSPC Engineering Private Limited, D.B. Construction, Parameter Associates, U.K. Traders, Vision Enterprises and Window Enterprises. Bids for the same were invited by GAIL (India) Limited in January 2026.
The duration of the contract is four months.
GAIL is implementing the CGD project in Jharkhand.
