Crown LNG and Indian Gas Exchange (IGX) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand and strengthen the natural gas market in Southern India.
The collaboration aims to support the development of independent gas consumers, enhance liquefied natural gas (LNG) distribution in rural and industrial areas, and optimise infrastructure utilisation for long-term energy security.
Crown LNG’s upcoming LNG regasification terminal at Kakinada Deepwater Port in Andhra Pradesh will play a crucial role in meeting the rising industrial and commercial gas demands, while IGX will utilise its trading platform and network to boost demand-side participation, foster competitive trading, and ensure broader access to clean energy solutions.
