As per Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC), the country’s total city gas distribution (CGD) sales has increased to 35.34 million metric standard cubic meters per day (mmscmd) during April- September 2023.
The CGD sales comprise of compressed natural gas (CNG) sales at 20.65 mmscmd; domestic and commercial piped natural gas (PNG) at 2.65 mmscmd and 0.67 mmscmd, respectively, while industrial PNG stood at 11.37 mmscmd.
