Bhopal Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) bio- compressed natural gas (CNG) plant is likely to be operational by June 2024.
Bhopal generates around 400 tonnes per day (tpd) wet waste which would be converted into bio-CNG. The plant, being set up on public private partnership (PPP) model would provide CNG at Rs 5 less than the prevailing market price.
