Biogas plant at Mandar likely to completed by January 2023. Compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and electricity will be prepared from the plant and supplied to 300 houses in the village. In the first phase, there is a plan to prepare gas from animal dung.
Under the Union Government’s Govardhan Yojana a biogas plant is being set up at Mandar village of Prayagraj through solid waste management system.
