Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) has posted a 17 per cent year- on- year (YoY) rise in net profit in the third quarter of financial year (FY) 2022-23. Net profit during the quarter came in at Rs 1.5 billion against Rs 1.28 billion profit in the same period during FY 2021-22.
The revenue from operations witnessed a rise of 27 per cent on YoY basis from Rs 9.32 billion to Rs 11.85 billion for the same duration.
The total gas sales volume for the quarter ended on December 2022 was 186 million standard cubic meters per day (mmscmd) as against 192 mmscmd in the quarter ended on December 2021, recording a fall of 3 per cent. Of the total gas sales, piped natural gas (PNG) volume was 70 mmscmd as against 91 mmscmd (down 23 per cent YoY) and compressed natural gas (CNG) sales volume was 116 mmscmd as against 101 mmscmd (up 15 per cent YoY) during the period under review.
