GAIL Gas Limited has commenced piped natural gas supply in Adityapur Industrial Area, Phase 7 in Seraikela- Kharsawan district of Jharkhand.
There are around 550 operating industrial units in Adityapur-Gamharia industrial area. Out of which, five industrial houses have already signed agreement to avail the connection.
GAIL Gas Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of GAIL (India) Limited has laid around 300 km pipeline network in Adityapur-Gamharia industrial area and has been supplying gas to domestic customers in the area. Moreover, it has commissioned eight compressed natural gas (CNG) stations in Adityapur, Kandra Seraikela, National Highway (NH)-33 in Seraikela-Kharsawan and West Singhbhum districts of Jharkhand.
