Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is planning to set up around 100 compressed bio gas (CBG) plants across the country over next five years.
The agro residue and organic based plants will consume around 5.5 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of waste to produce around 2.5 mtpa organic manure. Besides, it will help curb around 2 mtpa carbon emissions.
