In a notable development, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has successfully commissioned its first commercial scale compressed biogas (CBG) at Barabanki in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The plant has been set up in a period of 10 months.
Earlier, it had commissioned two demo units for CBG at Jamnagar.
