Government of Nagaland (GoN) inaugurated icompressed natural gas (CNG) station at Dimapur Bypass Road on October 30, 2026.
The gas station was developed by HPOIL Gas Private Limited, joint venture (JV) of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and Oil India Limited (OIL).
HPOIL and Indradhanush Gas Grid Limited (IGGL) signed a gas transmission agreement, where IGGL will supply natural gas through its pipeline from Assam, with Dimapur being the initial point of supply.
