In a notable development, IRM Energy Limited has signed tripartite agreement with IAV Biogas and GAIL (India) Limited for compressed biogas (CBG) blending in the city gas distribution (CGD) network under the CBG-CGD Synchronisation Scheme.
As per the agreement, IRM Energy would procure up to 3,000 standard cubic meters per day (scmd) of CBG from IAV Biogas for distribution via its CGD network in Namakkal and Tiruchirappalli districts of Tamil Nadu.
