Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has reported 31.55 per cent decrease in net profit in the third quarter of financial year (FY) 2024-25. The net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 3.25 billion as against Rs 4.75 billion profit in the third quarter of FY 2023-24.
The revenue from operations witnessed 5.6 per cent increase from Rs 39.26 billion to Rs 41.46 billion during the period under consideration.
The total sales volume stood at 838.10 million standard cubic meters (mscm), compressed natural gas (CNG) volumes at 616.61 mscm and piped natural gas (PNG) volumes at 221.49 mscm during the October 2024- December 2024 period.
IGL is an Indian natural gas distribution company that supplies natural gas as cooking and vehicular fuel. Established in 1998, the company operates primarily in Delhi-national capital region (NCR) and its neighbouring cities.
