Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Chhattisgarh Biofuel Development Authority (CBDA), Raipur Municipal Corporation and Bhilai Municipal corporation have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for development of compressed biogas (CBG) plant in Raipur and Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.
The plants will process around 100-150 tonnes per day (tpd) municipal solid waste to produce bio- compressed natural gas (CNG).
These will be developed entailing an investment of Rs 1,000 million each.
