In a notable development, Megha City Gas Distribution Private Limited has commissioned its second liquefied compressed natural gas (LCNG) plant in Sagar geographical area (GA), Madhya Pradesh.
It would cater to compressed natural gas (CNG) needs of five daughter booster CNG stations in Hoshangabad, Narsinghpur, Sagar and Vidisha districts.
Besides, it is planning to provide piped natural gas (PNG) connectivity in Sidhuguwan industrial area.
Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has authorised Megha Gas to lay city gas distribution (CGD) infrastructure in 62 districts across 22 GAs in nine states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
