VGL plans to increase CBG injection by 1,000-1,500 kg per day in its network

Vadodara Gas Limited (VGL), a joint venture of GAIL Gas Limited and Vadodara Municipal Corporation, is planning to increase compressed biogas (CBG) injection in its distribution network by 1,000-1,500 kg per day.

Currently, VGL injects around 5,000 kg of CBG daily into its network, primarily in the Gajrawadi area, sourced from three private suppliers under the Centre’s CBG-City Gas Distribution (CGD) Synchronisation Scheme, with GAIL (India) Limited acting as the nodal agency.
