About 13 firms have submitted bids for laying of 12.75” outside diameter (OD) 3LPE carbon steel (CS) pipeline by horizontal directional drilling (HDD) across Vaigai River in Madurai geographical area (GA) for city gas distribution (CGD) network in Tamil Nadu.
These include ACE Pipeline Contracts Private Limited, Ario Infrastructure Private Limited, Enerinfra Private Limited, Kaveri Energy Private Limited, Mech Fab Engineers Private Limited, Petropath Fluids (India) Limited, Mynor Enterprises Private Limited, SJ Construction, Spike Engineers, Taurant Projects Limited, Vac Teleinfra Solutions Private Limited and Vichitra Construction Private Limited.
Bids for the same were invited by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) in October 2025.
The work is likely to be completed in four months.
