THINK Gas has commissioned the first compressed natural gas (CNG) station in the industrial town of Begusarai in Northern Bihar near Amaur Dhala. The company is aiming to launch four CNG stations in the district by March 2021 and double this figure by December 2021.
THINK Gas has licenses to operate city gas distribution networks in 11 districts of India, across the states of Punjab, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. In Begusarai district, the company has laid around 21 km of steel pipeline and is expected to complete the 41 km stretch of pipeline network by December 2021. Upon completion natural gas would be made available in the industrial and commercial units of the district by pipeline.
