Think Gas and AG&P Pratham have merged to broaden their market presence in the city gas distribution (CGD) sector and improve operational efficiency.

With the new unified brand, the goal is to build and establish one of the largest natural gas networks in India.

The group will make the largest foreign direct investment (FDI) in greenfield CGD, entailing an investment of USD 1 billion over the next eight years.

The expansion plans include extending their network to 24,000 inch-km of steel pipelines, establishing more than 2,000 compressed natural gas (CNG) stations, and covering 324,000 square kilometers to serve over 180 million customers.

The combined entity now operates across 10 per cent of the country’s land area, spanning 50 districts in 10 states and serving over 180 million people.
