The revised detailed project report (DPR) of the Vyttila Mobility Hub (VMH) Phase II, an integrated transit terminal in the city of Kochi, Kerala, will include a compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling station in its premises. The development comes in view of the VMH Society’s decision to develop the hub as a comprehensive one, which would also have the provision to recharge e-vehicles as well.

The DPR, which is expected to be prepared by February 2021, will include the extent of land to be leased out for the CNG station. However, the ownership of land would remain with the VMH Society.

Meanwhile, the decision to revise the project’s DPR, which had already been submitted by the Kochi Metro Rail Limited, was taken since the public-private partnership mode to implement the Phase II might involve an improved design.
